SKIF was founded in 1977 by Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke, 10th Dan. It has become one of the world’s largest and finest karate organizations with over 2 million members in more than 100 countries. SKIF-USA is closely affiliated with SKIF-Japan and is dedicated to the growth and development of SKIF in the United States. Headquarters is located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
