It is with great honor that SKIF New York and New England Shotokan Karate-Do are hosting, for the first time, Kanazawa Nobuaki Kancho of SKIF, from Tokyo Japan.
The event will be hosted on June 8th of 2024 at Trevor Day School (312 East 95th Street, New York, NY 10128).
We are pleased to extend an invitation to all fellow karateka of all ages, regardless of style or affiliation, to come join us for a wonderful day of training!
Kancho Nobuaki Kanazawa (8th Dan), holds a pivotal position in the world of Shotokan Karate as the eldest son of the late Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa (10th Dan) and Founder of the Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation (SKIF). Kancho Nobuaki Kanazawa has dedicated his life to upholding the legacy of SKIF, assuming the role of the current head (Kancho) of SKIF Worldwide. His journey in Karate, marked by natural talent and numerous accomplishments, reflects a profound commitment to the martial art.
